The Davidson family purchases a Habitat home in Dickson

On Sunday, November 8, Amy Davidson received the keys to the Habitat home she purchased in Maple Valley in Dickson for herself and her two young daughters. Amy’s house is the fifth Habitat home built since Dickson’s merger with Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity in July of 2007, bringing the total number of Habitat homes built in Dickson County to 17.
Amy’s house was sponsored by Chappell’s Cee Bee, Community Pharmacy, Inc., Cross Point Community Church – Dickson Campus, Greater Nashville Association of Realtors (GNAR), High Noon Rotary, The Nashville Presbytery of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, State Representative and Mrs. David Shepard and TriStar Bank.
Volunteer groups that helped build Amy’s house included Dickson County High School’s Junior Civitan and Interact Clubs, First United Methodist Church, Good Morning Rotary Club, Horizon Medical Center and O’Charley’s Restaurant.
