Cast and crew of ‘Little House on the Prairie: The Musical’ make Timberwood a little greener
November 2, 2009

In conjunction with the Nashville run of “Little House on the Prairie: The Musical” at The Tennessee Performing Arts Center, cast and crew for the show planted trees in Timberwood on October 29, 2009, to draw attention to the need for affordable housing.
Trees were donated by Nashville Electric Service (NES), which has helped build seven Nashville Area Habitat homes for hardworking families. Tennessee Environmental Council executive director John McFadden led the volunteers for this rewarding project.
Did You Know?
Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity merged with the Dickson affiliate in 2007. Since then, they have built seven homes, with three more planned for 2011.
