The Habitat HomeStore

Making dreams come true for Nashville area families

The Habitat HomeStore is operated by Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity to provide a new source of funding to build more Habitat homes in the Nashville area. The Habitat HomeStore sells new and used home-related items and building materials at generous discounts to the public. All proceeds are used to construct more homes to sell at zero percent interest to people who are not able to afford a conventional home mortgage. The Habitat HomeStore has generated enough revenue to build five Nashville Area Habitat homes in less than five years of operation.

The merchandise at this store specializes in building materials and supplies, cabinets and major appliances. Looking to upgrade your rental property? We can help you save money on costly replacement items like HVAC units, windows, doors, plumbing and vanities. Renovating or redecorating? Spend less on top-quality home improvement products including hardware, trim, paint, flooring and molding.

Shop often and save.

Merchandise comes in daily, so we encourage our shoppers to stop in often to check out the latest inventory and special discounts. Markdowns of 25 percent are automatically calculated every two weeks and are printed on the tag when merchandise comes into the store. HomeStore customers return again and again for a new "treasure hunt" shopping experience.

Check out our deconstruction service.

Whether you are rebuilding, remodeling or renovating, we can help you save time, money AND get a clean start on your project. Let our licensed and insured professionals remove old cabinets, fixtures and building materials from the site and resell them at The Habitat HomeStore. You don't have to pay for the deconstruction, plus you get a tax credit for your donation.

It's recycling at its best.

By donating your materials and furnishings to The Habitat HomeStore you are helping the environment by conserving much-needed space in the landfill while helping us generate funds to build more Nashville Area Habitat homes.

Help stock the store.

New and recycled merchandise comes from you—area businesses, organizations, churches and individuals who are reorganizing, redecorating or making donations of equipment and goods. Vehicles, boats and campers are also welcome. We do not accept clothing or hazardous materials.

If you would like to make a monetary contribution, we are happy to accept your gift to purchase more inventory for resale.
