HomeWORKS Facilities
In 2007, HomeWORKS opens its newly-remodeled space which includes an adult classroom that will accommodate up to 30 participants with a movable partition which can split the room into two smaller classrooms; a new children’s classroom will hold up to 36 kids comfortably and two computer stations plus storage cubbies for each child; and a new room for teenagers next to an expanded computer lab, which will hold a game table, TV/DVD player, CD player, sofas and bean bag chairs and, of course, study tables. With this additional space, we are in a better position to develop and offer more structured programming for kids that aligns with the adult curriculum.
