On October 22, Providence Park families held the neighborhood’s annual Fall Festival. The mood was bright and brilliant as autumn leaves, and the nationalities and cultures were as diverse. It was a chance for the kids to all play together in the public park within Providence Park, and they enjoyed special treats, including face-painting, a moon bounce, hula hoops and an inflatable climbing wall. The buffet table featured a “Walk of the World,” a showcase of home-cooked foods from all the cultures represented at Providence Park. Traditional American festival staples – hot dogs, popcorn and cotton candy – were abundant. And there was no shortage of giggles, smiling faces and family fellowship.
