Become a Supervisor on Site (S.O.S.) – Learn more about building a house and instruct other volunteers at the build site. You'll meet lots of amazing people and develop new skills. We are looking for dedicated and patient individuals who like to help others learn. Individuals are asked to volunteer at least four days during each build.

In 2007, Nashville Habitat built its first ever Youth United house and we are gearing up to build our second in the fall of 2008. We are currently looking for youth, ages 16 to 25, to serve on the Youth United Steering Committee.

Share your knowledge and life experience with future homeowners in a small class setting. Curriculum provided. HomeWORKS classes are offered to partner families, providing valuable skill they will need during and after they build and purchase their homes. Course topics include construction basics, home maintenance, financial management, healthy living, gardening and more. Classes are offered weekday evenings.

Partner families often must bring their children with them when they attend HomeWorks classes. Individuals with a passion for educating and caring for kids will love this opportunity. Art supplies, games, tutoring, play room, library are all provided. Child care is needed when HomeWorks classes are in session, weekday evenings.
