Youth United Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Positions
- Leaders serve on the Youth United Steering Committee, helping to plan and execute fundraising and awareness campaigns
- Sponsors develop and participate in fundraising to help sponsor a home
- Advocates spread the word about Youth United and about Habitat’s mission of providing affordable housing to those in need
- Builders help with building the home, provided they are 16 years of age or older
Why Should I Get Involved?
You and your peers will help make a deserving family’s dream of purchasing a home a reality. You will meet youth from different backgrounds and become friends while working to raise money, awareness and build a home. Also, valuable leadership, social and construction skills will be developed.
Youth Less Than 16 Years of Age
We periodically plan events for youth under 16 years of age. Contact Matt Hawkins, 254-4663, ext. 238 to discuss volunteer opportunities.
