Habitat of Greater Nashville has been following local, state and CDC guidelines for COVID-19 safety. At the build sites, Habitat provides personal PPE and face coverings for all volunteers, which are optional when working outdoors. Volunteers will be asked to wear face coverings when working inside where social distancing is hard to achieve. For more information regarding Habitat's COVID safety protocols, click here.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville offers a volunteer team building experience few other nonprofits can offer, while engaging life in such a deep and meaningful way. Volunteers can work on a Habitat build site, teach a class in the Homeowner Academy, or volunteer at the ReStore. Your impact is widespread:

  • A Habitat home is a strong foundation to build a better life. More than 947 individuals and families have a place to call home in this community thanks to you. You make an impact.
  • Habitat homes are affordable because of the generous financial support from our sponsors and the dedicated volunteer labor, both offered in partnership with us for solutions in affordable homeownership. You are difference maker.
  • The home you are building is so well built, less than one-third of the energy goes toward heating and cooling, saving homeowners $25,000 in electricity cost over the life of a 30-year mortgage. You do quality work to build quality homes.
  • For more information on any of these opportunities, click on one of the buttons below.
