Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore has many group or individual volunteer opportunities available for you! When you volunteer at the ReStore, you do much more than you realize. Proceeds from sales at the ReStore have helped more than 28 low-income families purchase homes.
To begin the volunteer process, please complete these two simple forms:
The Volunteer Form will allow you to clock in and clock out for all your service hours and view, register, or cancel volunteer opportunities, all online.
Once you complete both forms, the volunteer coordinator will email you a link to complete your profile. The email will include your login code, more information about your account, and ask you to set up time to meet with th volunteer coordinator. This process will make scheduling and tracking your volunteer experience simple and easy.
ReStore Volunteer Opportunities:
General Volunteer: If you like to assist customers, stock shelves and have a knack for displaying merchandise, Habitat’s retail outlet has a place for you. Volunteer opportunities are available Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Deconstruction Volunteer: The DeConstruct team travels around Nashville to remove kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, and more to be sold at the ReStore. Volunteer shifts are usually weekday mornings from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and do require lifting and exposure to weather outside.
Donation Scheduler: The ReStore is currently looking for volunteers to serve as donation schedulers. These volunteers would help answer the ReStore donation hotline, return messages left by potential donors, and help schedule donation pick-up times. Volunteers would ideally be able to work at least one four-hour shift per week for up to three months.
If you are interested in learning more about any position or have any questions, please email Dave Jaeger at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him at (615) 942-1276.
